Annette Winter - "Noleta"
Annette is a self-proclaimed
theatre “ho” traveling all the way to Bergen County just to sing Broadway Baby in BCP’s acclaimed production
of Follies, In Concert. Prior to that, she appeared as Pennelope Pennywise (Perry nomination)
in Urinetown at Allegro. Annette also directed and appeared here on the Darress stage in The
Enchanted Players’ Fund Raiser, Broadway and Beyond (Perry nomination), for which John
Hammel (appearing as GW) received a Perry Award. Annette directed (Perry nomination) the first production of Sordid
Lives here at the Darress Theatre where Brian James Grace was awarded a Perry for his role as Brother Boy. She also appeared
as Nelle in Regan Ryzuk’s award winning production of Joe’s Bar and as the Barmaid
in the Ryzuk & Ryzuk production of Jack the Ripper, the musical thriller at The Barn Theatre.
Other EPI productions included, Eulalie McKechnie Shinn in The Music Man, Cinderella’s
Stepmother in Cinderella, Truvy in Steel Magnolias, and Queen
Agravane in Once Upon A Mattress. Her directing credits include Rapunzel,
Broadway and Beyond, Mr. Scrooge, Sordid Lives, Steel Magnolias, Wait
Until Dark, and Little Women, among many others. Favorite roles include,
the Luce in Boys from Syracuse, Miss Jones and Smitty (not at the same time) in How
to Succeed and Charlotte in A Little Night Music, among others. Annette also appeared
in the Broadway Production, The Prince of Grand Street, as Mrs. Schumaker starring Robert
Preston.
